Ok, and this matters why?

I will exclude heartbreaking losses (e.g. USC, 1979) because "frick losing", but a short list of best regular season games (and these are all home games) would have to include:

2007 Florida
2003 UGA
1997 Florida
1959 Ole Miss

-based on the games themselves and each of these games holds a larger than life reputation (as do, to a certain degree the Auburn games of 1988 and 1995).

Bama 2022 is now in that select company and there is no higher compliment we can pay it than to include it with those.

I've been watching the Tigers play since 1949. There have been many, many great games. Yes, the most recent one sticks "to the top of your mind", but I can't objectively say this BAMA game is the GOAT.

Just to name a few great games I recall over the years:

1949 North Carolina
1959 Ole Miss
1961 Ole Miss
1966 Cotton Bowl vs Arkansas
1969 Auburn
1970 Notre Dame (a loss, but a great game)
1971 Notre Dame
1982 Florida State
1984 Southern Cal
1988 Auburn
1993 Bama
1997 Florida

I'll leave the naming of the great games of the 21st century to you youngsters.

How about the Blue Grass Miracle. Maybe not a great game, but a great ending.

72 Ole Miss
97 UF
22 Bama.

And I’ve been blessed enough to be there for all.

Way down the list. Thanks to transfer rules. For me It’s much more enjoyable when pulling for guys who have been on campus for more than half a year.

Not even close. 2007 Florida, 1959 Ole Miss and 2011 Bama were much more important and equally exciting games.

First half was kinda boring. Second half was fun though and the way the game ended was one of the best endings to any LSU game ever.

That being said, 2019 had so many memorable and rewatchable games. The offense was much more exciting to watch and I'd rank the best 5 or 6 games from that one season alone ahead of 2022 bama, as far as most fun to watch.

And just think in a few years it will mean absolutely nothing because in a 12 team playoff those clowns would still get in. That’s been my point all along the 12 team playoff is a fricking joke and totally ruins what we just got to witness. Game would have meant nothing for them because we would have did them a favor by making sure they didn’t get another loss this year so they cruise right into the playoffs

How does that guarantee they won’t lose again?

Because they are going to beat Ole Miss and finish 2nd in the West. Nothings a guarantee but way easier path then having to win rest of games an go beat Georgia like we have to do this year in a 4 team playoff to have a chance

Hard to disagree with this.

Fl 07 was incredible, so was Georgia 03.

But this last Saturday will be hard to top
