anyone that was worried about President Tate not supporting the sports teams or just all around ruining the university.....yea you can put that shite to bed now. Dude has been 100x the president F King was and doesnt just hide in a box getting drunk
he was in the middle of everything saturday night, rushing the field, high fiving students and just plain having a blast.
watch these and tell me the dude doesnt love sports, also think he gives two shits about the fine??? hell no, dude was out there rushing the field too!!

Multiplying 100 by 0 is still 0...
But I agree, he's a fantastic president for pretty much all aspects of the university.

He has a CRT background so concerns were valid. Ill admit they haven't materialized as far as I know

I was against Tate when he was announced to be in the running for the job, and I'm man enough to say I was wrong. The dude clearly loves LSU.
F King was a cancer to everything he touched.

Agree, he had to win me over. I've had the opportunity to shake hands and small talk. About a year ago I had the opportunity, purely by chance, to talk to him for about 20 minutes. The alignment starts at the top

How many times do I have to address this? He studied CRT so he could destroy it, similar to what BK did to Little Nicky.

What a leadership change going from Joe Alleva and F King Alexander who were both worthless, arrogant corporate dicknoses who didn’t have an ounce of resolve or character between the two of them, to Scott Woodward and President Tate who are actual people who use their brains to get things done and seem like good people overall. That duo of Alleva and FKing was an embarrassment to the university

He reminds me of JJ Walker in that first pic.

I've gotta say I expected him to come in and spew CRT across the campus, but I was way wrong. I like the guy!

many were against it because of background, lack of understanding etc...at worst most were concerned....
many of us were excited for king too
boy were we fricking wrong.
really excited to see where he takes fund raising and academics.

This isn't true. He was the best candidate for the job. That's why he was selected. That's why he's excelled. Sports have been lagniappe. Commercial investment, research opportunities, attention to detail, all have been visibly different early on in his tenure. We got ourselves a good one...and the current students, staff, and administration are all reaping the benefits.

I am very happy I was completely wrong about the guy. He’s been solid so far and that’s all I can ask for
