There are several yes votes that are needed. Don’t just vote no on everything.

No for almost everything.

I can live with their recommendations except number 8. I will be voting no because I know that “disability” (especially the way people are certified as disabled by the government) isn’t always a forever condition. And certifying income one time each year is not an undue burden in order to receive a tax break.
In general I am a no on most amendments because our legislators send too many things to the voters as amendments instead of creating statutes.

The constitution is not supposed to be legislation. No across the board for me. If they want this shite they can pass a law. Then if it doesn’t work they can pass a law to unwind it as opposed to needing a never gonna happen amendment to get rid of it. Amending the constitution Willy Nilly is how we end up with shite we can’t change if we need to and want to.

IMO the vets property tax amendment (s)is not only unnecessary but a virtue signaling amendment that won’t have the effect we think it will
Unless that’s stressing local tax based even more and likely easing everyone else’s property taxes
Remember just because it isn’t in the state Constitution doesn’t mean there aren’t many ways the same could be accomplished LOCALLY
Since there are no state property taxes I really see no reason for the constant constitutional meddling in this arena
Just my opinion based on research

Yes for 1
No for everything else
1 will help the state make more money so we have to pay less taxes. Only a fool would vote no for 1.

If this is the reasoning vote No.
We will never pay less taxes in Louisiana.

Thanks for posting the hayride. After reading their reasonings and explanations I think I’m actually voting no to all. The only ones I might lean towards are 1 and 5, but I still think I’m voting no on them.
Those should be laws, not constitutional edicts.

Every amendment I'm supporting is unwinding or rolling back an amenedment that never should have been there in the first place.
Every amendment I'm not supporting would create something new that should never be in the constitution at all.
