Namor's physical strength level

With Hercules being introduced in credits scene in the last Thor movie, the upper level of the strength scale is going to start getting kinda crowded.

Which Hulk? The MCU has been 9 kinds of fricked up on Hulk lore as it is.

The MCU power scaling is weird but then again so are the comics

There’s nobody in that movie that should have a Thor or Hulk power level

I mean I’m no comic reader but apparently there’s been runs where Namor has been on Hulk’s level so this is just a dumb thing to say

Hopefully they don't make Namor as strong as She-Hulk, that would be absurd.

The explanation given in the comics is that living underwater surrounded by tons of pressure gives him and his people superhuman strength when on land.

Ah the good ole mental gymnastics, you tards get mad because of a change from the comics with Namor but then still get mad even when they take something from the comics. Sounds like y’all just want to be perpetually angry

I have zero issues with Namor being as strong as them. He has been close before.

The issue I'm going to have, if he's that strong, there isn't a soul in Wakanada that will be able to defeat him.

from the article:
"have already teased Namor's comics-accurate design"

Yeah, like this:

is "a comics-accurate design" of this:

Frickin' earrings, beard and moustache, no widow's peak, necklaces, heavy-arse chest piece, and a damned bone in his nose.

And he's not from Atlantis, he's Aztec/Mayan from Mexico. They're even admitting they're pandering to a specific group:

'Huerta explained that this change will help Namor feel a little more realistic, grounding the character and his home "in real cultural significance and cultural traditions" to help bring the Latinx community into the spotlight'.

This is great news, realism is very important when it comes to comic book movies. /s

Has it been confirmed anywhere if they will identify that Namor is a mutant in the film?

He'd technically be the first in the linear Disney-MCU universe I think.

And pronounced with a spanish "Nah-morrrr", not the traditional "Nay-more".

But I did see some YT video that Disney doesn't own the rights to Namor from Atlantis, much like Sony owns Spiderman, so allegedly that's why they tweaked the name & background.

IDK how true that is or who owns the rights. Would seem too close to a rip-off, begging for a lawsuit, if true.
