Sorry if already posted. I don't lurk on here as much as I used to.

What happens if LSU wins SEC with 2 losses and UGA and Tennessee each have 1 loss. Does the CFP committee put LSU in the CFP over UGA and Tenn (especially since Tenn beat LSU).

Does the CFP committee put two SEC teams in? I assume OSU/Michigan will get in plus TCU. And perhaps a 1 loss USC/Oregon. I think Clemson is out at this point after getting exposed by ND.

Then it'd probably be:
1. OSU/Michigan winner (assuming they stay undefeated)
2. Take your pick of either TCU or Oregon if they don't lose again
3. LSU
4. Georgia

so you think:

1) OSU/Michigan
2) Undefeated TCU
3/4) LSU/UGA

and you would have 1 loss Oregon/USC out of the CFP?

SEC champ LSU goes. Unless they lose a 3rd game in there somewhere.

even over a 1 loss pac 12 champ? Oregon's only loss would be against UGA.

TCU and Oregon are both going if undefeated. Winner of OSU/UM. Really depends on much weight is put in the SEC championship game

Let's try to win this Saturday before thinking about even playing GA.

Who LSU beat. SEC has earned that respect.

Oregon already has a loss (49-3 to Georgia).

TCU will likely have a loss if not 2. @ Texas & @ Baylor

The Pac-12 is mediocre, and that loss by Oregon to Georgia was by 46. I don't think anyone is impressed with them. I think Oregon and USC will both lose again, anyway. It'll work it's way out.

I expect TCU to lose a game or two, coming up, as well. They have Texas, Baylor, and whoever they end up playing in the Big 12 championship, if they get there, as potential losses. I think they'll get exposed just like Clemson did.

What is more difficult is jumping a 1-loss Tennessee. I'm banking more on Michigan either losing to Illinois and Ohio State, or just getting obliterated by OSU if that ends up being their only loss. OSU gets too much love for me to believe we'd pass them if they lose a game.

A.R.K.A.N.S.A.S. is the only game that matters.

I don't see how Oregon would be ahead of LSU if they both win out.

Oregon would be 12-1 Pac 12 champs with a 49-3 loss to Georgia in Atlanta.

LSU would be 11-2 SEC champs with a victory over Georgia in Atlanta.

Furthermore, I don't see how Oregon would be ahead of 12-1 Georgia either with a 49-3 loss head-to-head.

Well "we" aren't playing Saturday. The football team is. The whole point of this forum is to talk about stuff like this.
