Has anyone else lost interest in college football?

I can’t make myself interested the past 3 seasons. I think it’s related to all the recent political events. The BLM politics and Covid bs seemed to trigger it. It just feels trivial and meaningless when compared to other events.
I no longer want to attend or watch games. I used to follow recruiting and visit the Rant many times a day. I barely look at it anymore.
Anyone else relate?
Edit: And it’s not just because Auburn sucks.

I stopped 3 years ago as well.
LSU is woke AF, many of their players likely think I'm racist, and TAF is all about affirmative action with their coaching staff but not the players.

Since they marched for BLM…. They lost me. Even my 74yo daddy who was lifelong fan of the tigers and saints. He hasn’t watched a game in 3 yrs! He told me he never dreamed there’d be a day that you could ask him about either team and he couldn’t tell you anything about their season. He did watch a few games during Burrow’s championship year but once they knelling began, he was out. He’s also a Vietnam Vet so he’s a very hard headed and stubborn man when his mind is made up.

Yes the most i watched was a few hours this weekend. Besides that I’ve been busy and care less the older I get. I don’t have time or effort to follow like I once did.

There is no more college football, there’s an NFL minor league that wears school colors. It’s been sliding that way for a while but they’ve stopped pretending now.

Even with A&M sucking extra hard this year I still watch at least part of the game.
But after the BLM fiasco at A&M we dropped ALL season tickets we had to ALL the sports (both woman and men)!! We stoped donating to the university as well!!
