This has not been the process for Dem and Dem cities for the last few years.
Why are they all of the sudden tough on crime and violent criminals? What is (D)ifferent ?

All snark aside, the answer is Federal vs State charges. The Feds didn't do away with cash bail and Pelosi's slam piece's bail will be the maximum allowable.

They know David’s EXACT words, but the D.A. does NOT know where David is currently nor do they know who opened the door for the police. The door needed to be opened? I thought one was already busted out. The D.A. Is also CERTAIN that this was politically motivated. This country sucks. Totally sucks. Who buys this??? Wth??

He has not yet been arraigned on the likely state court charges. I think the state arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow. The State Court may set bail, or it may not.

First, there would be no federal charges, because the charges arose from the attack upon a family member of a federal governmental official.
Like the Depape, you would probably not yet have even been arraigned on state court charges, and you would be sitting in jail awaiting arraignment.

Are you talking about an AUSA (asst US attorney)? … which is the federal equivalent.
Are you asking why the state district attorney has been making statements to the press, while the only charges are federal? My best guess is that the local US attorney’s office Has some sort of policy about limiting press exposure, while the elected state district attorney is a Press whore

The article that I linked simply said that the charges have been filed. It did not indicate where the information originated.
