The perennial bye week for LSU has led to this being the weekend with the most weddings for LSU fans during the fall. My wife and I agreed on this weekend in 2007 when we got married on Friday evening of this week. Our Bama fan friends also attended.

We then watched the next Saturday from Hawaii as LSU beat Bama in Saban's first year. Early Doucett with the late touchdown catch and run! Chad Jones with the strip sack and Tigers recover inside the 5 yard line!. Hester with the dive over for the TD!! Glorious!!

Anyone you know getting married this weekend? Would love to have a similar result for them!!

Thought about doing this but sometimes games get postponed and made up during the bye week. Can’t risk it.

I knew I picked the right girl when my fiancé at the time said we couldn’t have a fall wedding because of football season.

We got married the day before Valentines.

We go out on our anniversary and the restaurants are dead, we never go out on Valentines

I am going to a wedding this afternoon. I sincerely complimented the happy couple for scheduling it on an open date.

We got married during October bye week in 1996. You have to plan around the game schedule.

My wife and I got married during the buy week back in 1996, went on our honeymoon, flew back into BR and went from the airport to the LSU/Bama game. Also, when we had our daughter in 2001, her due date was on the Saturday of the LSU/Tennessee game so we induced the Tuesday before so we could back home for the game.

It’s all about priorities guys.
