Are you under the impression that Musk is going to turn the tables on the D's and start censoring their opinions? That isn't why he bought the platform...unless you think he's been lying about his motives.

other than trump, the conservatives killed it in 2020

No they won’t. In six months you guys are going to be complaining that Elon isn’t owning the libs (he is one, after all). Twitter will still be kicking conservatives off for egregious behavior. The changes will be little noticed. Conservatives won’t be hounded as much, and lefties will get treated the same as conservatives are.
These are important changes, but twitter is not being repurposed as a right wing weapon.

This is a huge improvement. The changes won’t be little noticed. Conservatives are no longer going to get kicked off of twitter. He’s openly said that.
