Livingston homers are going to be angry. They will probably post pithy remarks after they look up the definition of "proficient" and "standardized".

Good for Zachary!

I hope they can keep this up. There is a lot of very nice new housing under construction there - especially along Port Hudson-Pride Road. That's a lot of new students to accommodate.

Congrats to Zachary. Time for Ascension and Central to step it up.

That's great! Unfortunate it's in Zachary, though.

Good for Zachary. In a district that small you can get good results if you keep the kids engaged in a positive way. It's much more difficult in a larger district because of the variety of situations. But still, credit where credit is due. Good work.

Is this like claiming you're the skinny chic at Camp Roundup because your BMI is slightly under 40?

Remove the anchor that is Donaldsonville and Ascension smashes Zachary.

Being the best public school district in Louisiana is like being the smartest kid at the special Olympics.

If you do a deeper dive, you will see that their test scores are steadily declining.

Not arguing that Zachary isn't the best, but Niche is a garbage source. It's all self-reported, unverified information. It's like the OT for schools.

Why would you use Niche when the state ranks its own districts?
