I now have to ask...what's better (or worse)? Won't Back Down or Callin Baton Rouge?

Wont back down is lamer.

It just doesnt fit the situation of a hype song to play during a football game.

Calling baton rouge should only be played pregame for night games when the sun's setting

But even if u concede that both songs suck, at least callin baton rouge makes some kinda sense to play in baton rouge.

We don't have Garth Brooks Day and act like we've done it since Brooks was born.

Callin Baton Rouge is 1000x better as a gameday song

People who genuinely hate on CBR are looking for things to be miserable about.

I'd take either of those over a dumb STTDB chant that has forever ruined Neck.

Calling Baton Rouge is about a bootie call. It’s terrible and I’m fine with that. We play it 1-2 times a game, but don’t necessarily have it scheduled as some big part of the in game entertainment script.

They are equally bad. This is a great comparison.

Neither should be an every week home game tradition. Once in a while would be ok.

Downvote if you want, but they’re both great songs and a hell of a lot of fun to belt out as part of a huge crowd.

is way better than

Callin Baton Rouge
which is just a terrible song.

Won’t Back Down by a mile.

Always found it cringy that LSU’s go-to song is a song about a truck driver looking to pick up an underage Baton Rouge hooker.

CBR is good pregame to get the crowd going but the "such a strange combination of a woman and a child" line is very weird. Won't Back Down feels very forced, feels very Aggy.

Sweet Caroline at Fenway is awful.

If you don't get up and hold hands they yell at you.

Bunch of hippies.
