Rural Ohio isn’t much different from any other rural area in the South. Urban Ohio isn’t much different than any other urban area in the South. Really the only thing that’s differ is their unfortunate, hard on the ears, yankee accents. Though, I must admit it’s not as bad as what you hear in places like Minnesota or Boston.

You're confusing Ohio with the arrogance of east coast pricks like NY, NJ. I'm a transplant and I dislike east coasters, have some neighbors from Jersey but they aren't orange.
Skyline Chili, yeah that's an acquired taste. I like the coney dogs that's it.

Yeah, I know people from SE Ohio, not much different culturally than Southerners.
They travel a lot, its cheap to live there. They seem to have a good life with little economic stress.

Because Ohio is doing extremely well under Republican leadership. The state is about to boom with some huge companies that are moving to Ohio under Rep policies that are making Ohio an attractive place to do business. Ohio is becoming more and more deep Red and of course the media and liberals come out bashing Ohio. I live in Central Ohio and it’s never been better fin terms of planning for the future. There are some really good things happening in Ohio!!

Went to Cincinnati for a week for work one time. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. Overall pretty non-memorable experience. Still don’t know wtf is up with that chili spaghetti combo they have.

Ohio kinfolk paint everyone from south of the Ohio River as Hillbillies, not realizing the number of country folk in Ohio who fit, heck, even redefine that tradition.
Example: postcards up there with four stereotype hillbillies lying across a road and it was labeled "Hillbilly Speed Bumps."
I asked the nice Yankees who were about to buy it, would it be bought if there were blacks lying across the road? They put all their Hillbilly postcards back on the kiosk.
