Looks like the Texans aren't going to stop until they completely get Watson out of the league, which was their intention with the previous charade.

It's hilarious that people actually believe that this is what is happening and they are just paying off a bunch of women to ruin this dude's career.

What's so hard to believe?

Watson refused to play for the Texans. The Texans intentions were that if you don't play for us, we'll make sure you don't play at all.

You don't find the timing of all this to be a little suspicious?

Supposedly this has been going on for years, with the Texans' consent, I might add, which is why the Texans also had to pay off these women. They supplied some of them to Watson.

The Texans kept this quiet until such time as Watson refused to play for them anymore. Then suddenly, it all comes out.

or, what's more likely, the Texans were covering this shite up, and then decided to bury him after he refused to play for them.

The timing isn't suspicious at all, it makes complete sense and only means the Texans are terrible as well and only care about money.

Both parties can be wrong here. It's not a zero sum game.

Agreed.

Fair point.

It sucks that the Texans can ruin a players' career with absolutely no repercussion.

Frankly, I hope Daniel Snyder burns the whole thing down with what he claims he has on NFL owners, and commissioner.

100% agree. they should definitely face punishment if they hid it and only revealed it when it was advantageous for them to do so.

same tbh, but I think he's just posturing. there's really no reason to put that in the media unless you need attention. you can blackmail in private if you actually have the stuff.

Watson should have quietly paid to settle this one IMO.

100% agree.

It's like politics. The left will scream at the right. The right will scream at the left. Both will profit and nothing will change.

Rinse. Repeat.

it all boils down to money. I'd bet Snyder is just trying to raise the price to sell the team.

Go read the details of the Laremy Tunsil and DeAndre Hopkins trades and then tell me again how THIS team has the brains to orchestrate a scheme to remove a player from the league and not get caught doing it.
