Whataburger takes like 8 minutes per car if you go during the late shift

This list is obviously bullshite but there have been quite a few times where I’ll be in line at CFA and sit there for an eternity for seemingly no reason at all. It almost seems like they are so fast that sometimes they get ahead of themselves and run out of prepared food and have to wait.

Like there have been times where I’ll sit there for several minutes without moving an inch. Then all of a sudden it starts back up and I’m through the rest of the line in a heartbeat.

Lets see quickest fast food restaurant times per car.

This. I’m always amazed how quickly a CFA line wrapped around the building progresses.

Only because of the increased traffic compared to other restaurants

good context

when demand for your product is 10x that of the competition,
your delivery might be a little slower.

Popeyes would have made the list but the reporters had to pull up and wait 15.

Went last week and can confirm it was definitely slower than a usual line. They even have this dual line set which didn’t help

Yeah, well when they all tell you to pull forward, it changes the metrics

Exactly

About 10 years ago I had a work-from-home night shift job, used to get Taco Bell after midnight all the time, when I was the only one in line they'd ask me if I could pull forward and then reverse back to the window

Time starts when you pull up to the window to receive your order

Nah

Time starts at the speaker when you order, which has the first underground sensor to start the clock. Times in the OP are from when you make the order at the speaker

The sensor thats at the window let’s you know when that car exits the drive thru, to give you the full time reading from when you order to when you get your food. It will also measure the time at the window, which is generally under a minute

True, but there is also a timer that times your time at the window.
