Think it’s a rat snake based on eyes but can anyone verify. Have seen a couple water moccasins by my pond.

And thanks for this new irrational fear. Snakes in my walls from the damn weep holes.

That’s a glory hole snake

Agree. Can’t decide how to handle. This is apparently more common than we’d like to think.

Nailed it.
In my region we call them yellow bellies, but the belly color can differ in various regions (in some places the belly is more white). But the belly is patternless, hence the name plain-bellied. They get pretty large too.

I agree, water snake. And I'm cracking up laughing looking at the goofy arse look on his face popping out of that weep hole

quote:I was alerted to a snake by my next door neighbor on the side of the house I almost never visit. It had sought refuge in a crack in my foundation. Their solution? Allow the man of the house to concrete him in. He already had the bucket mixed. I reluctantly agreed because the woman of the house was hysterical and I just didn't want to hear from them any more since I really can't understand much of what they say.
And thanks for this new irrational fear.

Best got damn advice I’ve gotten from TD/OB in a while. Stopping today to get some. If my wife sees a snake pop out of the weep, my weekends will be shot.
