Sure he did. He sailed around on a boat.

He came from a culture who had developed metallurgy.

The European tribes (who had honestly been getting Their asses kicked by various Asian and Middle Eastern tribes for several hundred years before that just happened to make some martial and seafaring advances and then proceed to use that advantage the same as every other tribe known to man had?

There are 2 types of peoples in history.

The conquerers and the conquered.

And the former always becomes the latter, eventually.

Europeans were just the bigger fish that came along
