Never Mind the fact that all of the Late Night shows are woke and 100% Left leaning garbage. They all make fun of Republicans and Conservatives.

I read somewhere else that they are baffled why Gutfeld is now the king of Late Night Shows.. hmmmm, I wonder why?

Late night is dying because the younger generations dont watch it. Why do you think they do all the left wing pandering? Because they're trying to draw in younger audiences. Also, late-night is very much a boomer and older thing because they grew up on it in an age when there were only a few channels on TV and everyone was forced to watch Notre Dame and the Yankees for sports.
Family dynamics have changed, families dont eat at the table together anymore at the same time, kids have their lives, parents have theirs, etc.
There's not going to be a market for late-night TV anymore, and traditional cable where you only air in a particular time slot is going out of style as well.

Late night hosts, the wokes, still combine for viewership numbers that eclipse Gutfeld. It's just that there's like 19 of them to split their audience up so no individual can be on top. I assure you, late night network viewers still prefer the wokeness to Gutfeld, in amalgamation.

Also... the article does mention Gutfeld. And does have a 108 year old former executive state that the format was only ever succussful because there was nothing else on TV at that hour. Older people like me remember that, TV stations would go dead air at night but only a few still had chit chat shows that would collect all the viewers "traffic". Imagine if every website in the world shut down at 10 oclock but 3 or 4 stayed open, guess which websites would suddenly become the most popular. That's how TV used to be. Radio too. That's how Art Bell is someone you've ever heard of.
