Contact Higgins (another worthless frickhead who hung Lake Charles out to dry) and the rest of the Louisiana delegation, get with Gulf State delegations who know hurricane destruction, maybe pair with coastal delegations of both coasts who will see similar weather events, harp on Mississippi River and Cameron Parish LNG infrastructure, plant protection, and just general care and custody of your constituency, and do something.
Calling a crackhead would have gotten SWLA about the same results as calling Clay Higgins and John Kennedy over the past three years.
He’s a smart dude but he and Higgins have been given a pass for a complete dereliction of duty to their constituents because they make for good sound bites and throw red meat out for consumption. Kennedy obviously being much more smooth and calculating than the known scumbag, Clay Higgins.

Have you seen the videos on YouTube of his questioning of biden's judicial candidates? He tears them all new assholes. Or financial committee meetings? He dances circles around the Democratic appointees. He knows the budget system upside down & sideways. His IQ is easily double that of many many Democrats in the Senate. His folksy accent is an act that gets him important sound bites from the media, his intention. He gets attention, which for a conservative is unusual & good news.

His campy Southern-fried schtick is getting tiresome, but I think he's been a great senator. I wish we had another one like Kennedy, but we have Cassidy.

All of this from the guy that mocked citizens of Louisiana for trying to recall a dictatorial governor instead of relying on their elected officials to do their jobs.

Exactly, what has he accomplished to fix things? Get rid of the turtle? Lead rally against Biden? Anything but talk a good case. If he’s not part of a solution he’s part of the problem. Could build 12 new Mississippi River bridges north and south of Baton Rouge with a fraction of money going to the cooks in the Ukraine.

I talk to John privately and in small groups from time to time, most recently at his fundraiser at Ralph’s on the Park a few months ago. His accent is the same in private, but he is extremely sharp, and he doesn’t speak in corny similes like he does when he is mic’ed up. Those are prepared remarks that are meant to get him on the news and stimulate fundraising.
