I mean to people instate and outside of the state. Like if you just said a town would people recognize it?

Only 1 of those has a court house and downtown. I’ll say that one is more recognizable.

I only know of Leesville because of Cecil Collins, and I only know of Deridder because we got stomped in soccer playoffs there in the 00's. So neither?

So are we leaning Leesville? I’m thinking depending on who you’re talking to, proximity to Fort Polk is relevant.

I feel like in coversation a lot of people get Leesville mixed up with Leeville in Lafourche Parish, so I'll go with DeRidder.

You trying to start a war? Cause that’s how you start a war

Depends if you’re talking to North or South LA people. Deep South LA would know Leeville. North of 10 would know Leesville.

And Eddie and Vincent Fuller, even though they started at Rosepine.

Deridder and leesville both have a court house and downtown area. DeRidder’s is just much nicer.

Is the consensus here that Leesville is a shite hole and Deridder is not? But still Deridder isn’t all that either.

I went on a few dates with a nurse gal from Deridder. I swear all she'd talk about was carburetors. I think she's married to a woman now.

Yeah that’s splitting hairs, but if I had to pick, I’d live in deridder.

My wife's from DeRidder and her family is still there so I'm there fairly often - I would generally agree with this statement.
Also, Kevin Mawae was also a Wampus Cat, so Leesville wins as far as football heritage goes.

All I know is Johnny Jones is from Deridder and Nikita Wilson and Cecil Collins are from Leesville
