Hurricane Update and Prayer Request

I’m in Sarasota. Just got power back yesterday (it went out at 7:30 am on Wednesday) so I wanted to jump on and say all is well here. Thanks to those who were concerned about my pup and me. I could read the posts sometimes, but couldn’t log in and respond. Cell service was very messed up. I’m having a bad rebound of Covid. I was three weeks out when the storm hit. Was doing ok and recovering, but the physical and emotional stress of the hurricane set me way back. I’m doing very badly. I would appreciate prayers for my healing. Everything is fine with the house-very minimal damage. But I am not ok at all. I didn’t have a mild version, I had a very bad case of it. I really would appreciate prayer for that. Did anyone else here have a rebound case?

Good to hear from you dude. I hope you start feeling better. I can't imagine the stress you must feel, and now, feeling bad? Get better soon. Hopefully, it will pass soon, and your life will get back to normal.

Best of luck to you
Have you been to the Dr?
They may be able to give you something to help with symptoms

Get the vaccine.....that will make you feel better. Especially since the best way of preparing for a hurricane is to get vaccinated........well. Corn pop knows best.

Will certainly be praying. I’m so sorry you're having to deal with this.

No not yet. I still have Rx meds left over from original bout. My practitioner gave me a lot extra for this reason. Also, I’m a pharmacist and married to a pharmacist, and there wouldn’t be much a doctor could do beyond the meds I already have. But, thank you for your suggestion. Just going to keep resting. And thank you to everyone who responded with prayers! Also want to tell everybody that we both followed the FLCCC prevention protocol from the beginning: ivermectin, iodine nasal spray, chlorhexidine gargle, vitamin c,d,zinc. We did absolutely everything. Then, it absolutely kicked our butts despite taking higher ivermectin doses, hydroxychloroquine, and doxycycline from day one. This virus was an absolute beast. I don’t think either of us has ever been so sick in our lives.

Just going to keep resting.
A week after Ida, I was where you are today. Utter despair, physically and mentally exhausted. The days ahead seemed impossible.
So, I rested for a few days, sent the wife and kids to Florida to unload managing them, and things improved.
It's a long slog but gets a little better every day.
Prayers sent with best wishes for your health and recovery.

I had the Delta version right after Ida. Believe it or not getting out in the sun helped me get better faster. The stress of the storm made me more susceptible. Things will get better for you and your community.

The sun is a great help, indeed. Very healing.

I haven’t seen anything specific about it in the news and I haven’t driven by it yet. I hope it wasn’t damaged at all. It’s such a beautiful place.
