Hard to believe a veteran QB like Brennan would not have made this offense better….

than what we are seeing thus for! JD has glue on his hands and is not going to throw the ball we just soon start running the triple option. Play the bigger WRs so they can block!

With the time that JD had on some of those plays last night, MB would have carved auburn like a thanksgiving turkey.

MB would probably be hurt by now. The o-line has a ways to go. The receivers have butter fingers and your most talented rb has fumblitis

Early in the season Myles could not have dealt with offensive line play. They have gotten much better and Brennan probably would have had some yards last night. But who know………defenses are also going to game plan Daniels way different than they would for Brennan.

I think it’s pretty clear MB’s focus was elsewhere.

If he learned anything from Burrow at all, he would’ve been laser focused on being the best QB he could’ve been. Eat, sleep, breathe football and being a leader.

The ability was there, the priority wasn’t.

Maybe start by asking why he didn’t beat out Nuss for the backup since he was 3rd string.

Does anybody even have a clue if MB was eve close to his 2020 level anymore after 2 straight season ending injuries. There is good chance he wasn’t anywhere close to that level anymore. So this isn’t Daniels vs 2020 MB

Daniels has started/played in way more games than Brennan.

The argument for Brennan wasn't experience...it was that he was a legitimate talent to get the ball downfield.

What’s hard to believe is we have fans who don’t understand he was deserving of his third string status. He had no power 5 offers while in the portal.

He quit. Twice.

For the last damn time.

Plain and simple.

Quitters don’t get opportunities. And you better believe he would have been in over Nuss last night. Regardless of if he was going to be bench for Daniels to start the year.

He’s was a quitter twice. Stop bringing him up. Please.

It kind of sucks, wish he didn't hang it up so soon. He obviously saw the the staff really wanted to develop JD and go with him no matter what. Really wish he stayed though. We could really use him right now. And I bet he'd have starting role locked up by now. I'm sure he's kicking himself right now.
