Following Auggie's lead, I figured I'd share this one I finished this week. The shop's Facebook fans said some really nice things about it and you guys like eye candy too :)
A "Contour Tele" (added arm and tummy cuts) with my Carondelet T set, in a mid-60s tribute "ice metallic blue"

Wow - love that powder blue color.

Those contours are a real treat. My fender American standard doesn’t have them and it can really rub me the wrong way during long gigs.

Looks great - the antiquing is tastefully done
I'd kill for a classic Tele look/body but with a flat radius fretboard and thinner neck

Nice. The next body I buy, is probably going to be finished already.
I don't mind the sanding and staining so much, but drilling those holes was time consuming, especially the ones for the neck screws. Since that neck came off of a factory guitar, it already had the holes in the neck. I was determined to hit them perfectly and I did, but it took me a bit of time to make sure I got it just right.
and the wood flaked a little around the string ferrules when I pressed them in. It'll b a simple fix, but still, I think I should have done better.
I should have beveled the edge underneath on the ferrules, or at least rounded them a little.
I'm going to turn all my attention to my LP jr. for now though. I've got my mistake fixed on the headstock and have a mahogany veneer on the front and it turned out pretty well. The headstock and the new pickguard came out of the same piece. I think that's going to look nice. I'm going to do an amber/gold transparent stain on both and try a pearl clear coat. It may work, it may not, but if it doesn't, it's not very hard to redo it.
