I’m a major debate with someone over last weeks injury causing this injury to be more severe. I say fricking bullshite, this injury would have happened regardless of last week, what does the board say?
I’d say neither of you know yet but you dismissing his stance as bullshite is wrong

Hope he heals and has no permanent injuries to his brain. His career is over.

Reading this thread makes me happy this game is on Prime Video where no one is watching

didn't think he should go back in the game last week with what looked like a concussion.
So, you make personnel decisions based on feelings? He's cleared to play, he plays. You start making decisions based on crap like "optics" or feelings and you're drafting #1 every year.

I wish it was 2003 so they could show this on Jacked Up

No, but I wouldn't risk potential head injuries where my players are wobbly on the field after hitting their heads against the ground. Just seems like common sense.

I thought he said HE (TUA) hurt his back vs Ravens?

My favorite part listening back to it, is Kirk trying to put the blame on the defender after the play

Severe, his hands were curled up and stuck at his face. This looked like major brain trauma
His brain was as scrambled as a plate of Waffle House hashbrowns.

Another example of NFL needing to mandate natural grass fields with underground heating systems in all outdoor stadiums. Well maintained natural grass is the only option for player health. Grandfather out the flubber

This kind of hyperbole is ridiculous.

Here is the thing, let’s say it wasn’t a concussion, but instead a “spinal concussion” that caused him to nearly lose full consciousness twice last Sunday
Is that better? I mean frick me, your spinal column being so injured your brain signal causes you to fall down and pass out seems as dangerous as a regular concussion, so why would that allow you to go back into the game last week and play this week? You get smoked in the back far more often than head

You’re always terrible in Braves threads.
Even when making fun of a traumatic injury you can’t get your shite right.
When have you ever gotten “scrambled” hash browns at Waffle House? Either say scattered or make an egg reference motherfricker

I think the NFL itself is about to get sued. You push all this player safety crap and then last Sunday, we watch Tua get a clear head injury against the Bills, as he shook his head and then stumbled over a few times after getting up. The Miami Dolphins list it as a head injury then change it to a back injury days before the TNF game. 4 days later, you put him back in again and now he gets a severe concussion.
NFL is also probably gonna have a talk with Amazon Prime on showing player injury close ups after it happens. That was a no no. Especially in that situation on a prime time game. Now this debate about player safety that the NFL fear so much is gonna be precached from every media outlet.

The NFL is all in on player safety.
Got to love the Thursday games on three days rest because they can’t stand college football having Thursday night. And then adding a 17th game to the schedule to make more money for the owners.
