Tremond Short is listed as the backup on the depth chart. He looked pretty outmatched against Southern. This is a pretty big blow

Brody works for The Athletic and tweeted it out. I don’t think there’s any real reason not to believe him.

I feel like a hand is the easiest injury to play around as an OL

Maybe this is indicative of how the coaches feel about the matchup?

Eta. Didn’t read it was broken. Damn.

Frazier and Bradford
Cannot afford injuries on oline
Plus Dellinger is the backup center and if something happend to Turner it will be bad
Not news we needed to hear with meat of SEC schedule here

You mean his take on "there is no scenario where LSU beats Mississippi St" was wrong?

This.

Information from Jordy can be suspect because he has a tendency to over-exaggerate sometimes. This is a legitimate beat writer. I doubt he goes public with such news without solid information.

Tough break for a group who seemed to be getting some consistency. I think LSU is a bit deeper at guard than tackle. So I think they can fill the gap to some degree. Where this REALLY hurts is you've now lost your backup center...the spot on the OL where you have felt the least confident all season.

Maybe as a DL, no way for an OL

Dellinger broke his hand, had to have a procedure on Monday. Will miss this game but should be back next week.

I think that is the Dline. Oline has to be able to grab on the inside, especially the interior olineman.

Should be Frazier and Bradford at the guard spots which I’m fine with for this game hopefully it’s a short term injury
