Which is best for lunch with younger children

Digiulios doesnt take reservations so depending on how long the wait is and how inpatient /how old your children are that may not be the best choice.

We tried LA Contea once and it was a shite experience. Food was mediocre and we unfortunately got stuck with a new waitress who seemed like she still needed some serious training.

I'd give it another shot though because I know a lot of BR people like it.

Our go to is Nino's for nicer occasion or Digulios for casual.

To be fair, Gino's in the main dining versus the bar is also two completely different atmospheres within the same building.

The main dining room of Gino's needs the lights dimmed several notches, with candles added to the tables. That room doesn't match their level of food at all.

I prefer Digiulio's, never been a big fan of Gino's. I keep going back and find it's overpriced for what you get and never something I really want again, but once a year I give it a shot. DiGiulio's has increased their prices significantly in the past year too.

Agree that Nino's may be the best, but they need to update their menu. The current iteration doesn't temp me after eating off of it once.

Wow when was that pic taken (time of day and what day of week) 2 ball caps and one backwards? I have not been to Gino’s in some time but looking at that picture I have sat at everyone of those tables and don’t ever remember it being that bright

Ya know, I too feel like it used to be a lot dimmer a very long time ago. It has been bright like that the past several times I've been (besides the bar area, which stays dimmer).

We went for my birthday a few years ago after not having been in a long time, and we kinda looked around like we didn't remember it looking like that in there. Crazy how lighting can make such a difference.
