I was having over 100 per hour... the cpap (really an apap) has helped immensely but I still need to put more emphasis on losing weight and getting in better shape. I don't want to sleep connected to a machine forever.

After the first night using the cpap/apap, you will completely change and never be tired again. Facts.

My AHI went from a 30 to a 0.6 in about a week. It’s a game changer for sure

Check out the air sense F series with and without the memory foam. I use a regular f20 but I am going to try the F20 with memory foam next round.

The AirTouch F20 (the one with the memory foam) was a game changer. I tried a ton of different masks early on and this was the one I settled on. I haven’t not used my machine, even for a single night, in over three years.

Making it work is all about finding the right mask. And use ONLY distilled water in your machine. You’ll thank me.

I only stopped breathing about 10 times per hour. That’s a mild case, but I’m still going through with it. My daytime drowsiness is taking a toll on me, and I resort to more and more caffeine. In the Fall, I work 60-70 hour weeks. When the weekend hits I’ll sleep well past noon. I don’t want to do that, it just happens.

The nasal pillows didn’t work for me. There was too much pressure and my breathing could not keep up with the air. They did a mask that only fits over my nose and it worked well. Granted, the test wasn’t for a full night of sleep. I’m ready to bite the bullet and see how I feel after a 7-8 sleep.

I tried it and couldn’t tolerate it. The mask always ended up on the floor. I’m exploring the inspire implant. Tired of being tired

I just had my induced sleep throat endo. Unfortunately I'm not a candidate for Inspire due to my throat collapsing during sleep.

Consultation is next week on other options but initial suggesting is going in and carving out the tissue in my throat that's closing which sounds like a whole barrel is laughs.

My jaw relaxes so CPAP isn't helping much. I've tried about 5 different masks and even chin straps to keep my jaw closed.

No quality sleep fricking sucks y'all.
