No doubt, I felt like I jumped in a pool before kick.

You also have auburn uga that day. I know Aubbie is a dumpster fire but the rivalry aspect and UGA being 1.

Tennessee plays Bama the week after its game with LSU.

CBS will want that game, and it will not want to feature Tennessee two weeks in a row.

Could that mean that ESPN gets the LSU/Tenn game for its 6 pm slot?

CBS has 2 time slots that day. They aren't going to pass up the 2 best games because of Bama/Tenn the week after, that makes no sense. LSU/Tenn will either be 2:30 or 7 largely depending on what A&M does the next couple of weeks. CBS will probably use their 6 day option, meaning we probably won't know until the Monday before the game.

A mixture of day and night games is always best.

We moved to the south Endzone just for that reason. After the Georgia game in 18 she said I want to move to the other side next year

That is exactly what will happen IF Ark beats Aggie. I’m assuming Tenn beats Fla

Tennessee will beat Florida.

I'm more worried about the open date. We have to face Auburn on the road while Tenn has a bye-week advantage. They'll come into Tiger Stadium on 10/8 well rested and skrong.

You usually get day games when you’re good. Night games gives us an edge at home as dogs. Works out.

Always miss some of a night game putting kids to bed so day games have increased appeal as I've grown older

But I don't want any part of a day game until October for pure temperature reasons. First half of MSU was bad enough this past weekend.

A&M-Alabama is a mortal lock to be the CBS night game. Tennessee-LSU is a good candidate for the 2:30 slot.

Tennessee will either be 11 or 2:30. CBS will have to decide if they us or UGA/Auburn. Deep South's Oldest Rivalry is appealing in typical years but with Auburn being this bad who knows. Still Georgia is the #1 team in the country and people love to watch a public execution.

What if Tennessee loses to Florida (unlikely) and LSU loses to Auburn (maybe, given LSU's past history in Jordan-Hare)? CBS will certainly eschew this matchup in favor of Auburn-Georgia.
