Editorial: A. Rice - What happens leadership abandons a city to crime.

The American Spectator has a good editorial about Allison Rice and the state of Baton Rouge. Article is a bit long, but worth reading.
A thoughtful writing from a national conservative publication. There's been coverage around the US and internationally. The OT has to have played a small part in the increasing awareness of what's going on. Keep it up.

Sure would like to know which POS said this. I'd give him a standing invitation to meet me at Sonic.

Article mentions Kiran and criticizes the Advocate for going silent.
Also talks about how there are two Baton Rouges, one above Gov't St. and the other below it.
This is the best evaluation of what Baton Rouge has become that I've read.

People would care if the community up there would care enough to help killers get caught.
Hard to beat your chest and cry over murders that happen at a high clip that never get solved because no one ever saw anything, even in a crowded house party.

Oh, we have all known it for quite a while. It’s just making national news now.

Great article that echoes what we all know about Baton Rouge and why so many of us leave and never look back.

Fantastic article. Definitely recommend everyone read it and share it with others. This shite needs to be known everywhere if we want to have any chance to fix the city

Somebody let this piece of shite know that we will care about crime when the black community does. Numerous instances of blacks not talking to police and letting criminals off the hook.

Yes, please reveal who this is so he/she can be properly and aggressively informed how ridiculous, petty and self-serving that statement is.

Of course, can't fix there own problem and expect others to do it for them.
I guess technically it was white dems that caused this issue across the country. If he recognizes the problem, then for starters does he not consider to maybe don't use democratic policies, that clearly don't work, to fix problems that other dem policies created.
That statement is the typical fake front certain leaders use to act like they care and to point at other people to blame/fix things. If they truly cared, they would not remain as dems.

Dabadie tried to fix that while chief.

This board is loaded with what I am assume are largely middle aged white man who have nothing but contempt for BR's crime issues and also BR's leadership issues.
It's not "white people" that need to care for things to happen. It's "certain white people" like RICHARD LIPSEY, JOHN ENGQUIST, other BRAC types, other LABI types, other Bocage and Hundred Oak types. They installed Broome. They could call Broome today and tell her to run Paul and she would in a heart beat. But no, they show up to the fricking St. George trial and witness against middle class BR just trying to create a palatable public school system where they can send their fricking kids.
frick the BR political machine. Everyone of them. From Rolphe McCollister to Ted James.

frick Engquist with a spiked dildo for going into court and claiming the perception of racism with regard to St George was hurting his company. Under cross examination he had to admit they had previous problems due to crime and education issues which were being perpetuated by the side fighting St George.

Did said author read this thread and adjust the headline?
