Mike Seidel from Weather Channel (with video):
We were in the eye wall of Cat. 4 #Hurricane #Ian for over 5 hours and the back side was the worst. I haven't experienced anything close to this in over 30 years @weatherchannel

I have aboot 30-35 steady, with mostly gusts around 50. There has been a few pucker gusts. The worst should be here by midnight. I got Slag's permission and am guzzling coffee. My pups are not scared, I have a glass door open, and they go out to look around and pee.

Anyone else think for a brief second it meant the dog went back for the cat?

I refuse to admit to such, ma'am.

Inland freshwater flooding is starting near Arcadia
It just blew right by that projected crest and will likely break the record soon.

On the Fox weather app it looks like what’s left of the eye is coming close to us (in Sebring). Is that correct?

Anyone who wants a good app to maybe track some of the river flooding, I found a good free app a while back. It is called US Topo Maps. It is a hell of a lot more detailed than Google.
Here's an image from Horse Creek area.

Yep, you’re pretty close. It skirts by you to the west around 10:30-11 tonight.

Of course you can, but speculation like Biden won’t send aid is a bit ridiculous.
Yeah that would be quite stupid in a pivotal election year.

Where in Ft. Myers? It’s a big area. I have a buddy there who’s safe and dry and on generator power but he’s out near I-75.

That's about 20-25 miles due east of Siesta Key
