Pretty incredible how much he’s improved since the Bama days. Philly has done a terrific job developing him and surrounding him with a good line/skill players

All of this. Lamar in Philly's current offense would be super scary.

He’s always improved incrementally each year he’s played football. Solid player

He’s got a plethora of weapons. Goedert is an underrated TE.

Couldn’t be happier for the guy.

He knew what he was capable of during the whole benching saga and kept his head up and stayed a great teammate the entire time.

He’s impossible to root against.

This, exactly. I'm an Eagles fan this year, and I used to hate their fricking asses. He's pure class.

There’s one thing I’ve always admired about Jalen Hurts, and that’s his toughness.

I don’t think he would be the player he is today if he didn’t transfer to Oklahoma. It allowed him to really work on his passing. We already knew he could run.

He looks like he will have a long NFL career. Good for him.

If you would’ve asked me in the midst of the 2017 Iron Bowl if Jalen Hurts would ever start in the NFL, I would’ve laughed you out of the stadium.

Yet here we are.

If you've been watching, then you have seen leaps in improved fundamentals since he became an Eagle. He was still rolling out to his right after feeling pressure in the pocket when he got there and taking it upon himself to make the play. He just doesn't have the same tendencies anymore. He's in an offense that is legit with their running game and now with AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and Quez Watkins, he has some serious missiles to throw to. Just like Tua.

This is what I was just telling my coworker. I still can't believe that Jalen Hurts is a starting QB in the NFL, and a successful one on top of that. Blows my mind. OU and the Eagles did a phenomenal job fixing whatever Bama couldn't do with him. That's another thing. With all the coaching resources that Bama has, how come they couldn't improve him like OU did in one year?

Right but he wasn't all that good. Bama guys win that shite in their sleep. If you think Hurts at Bama was anywhere near Hurts at OU then I don't know what to tell you.

Just say you're an idiot. I'll understand. Jalen made vast improvement even when he wasn't starting in the 2018 season, and said he came back for his Junior season, at ALABAMA, for just that reason. When Tua went down in the SECCG, the still improving Jalen was on full display. He kept his head up, even when buying time and threw some laser passes, and smoked Georgia in the 4th quarter.

Until he ran into an SECW team in the playoffs and all of his negative tendencies re-emerged. A lot of guys are gonna put up better numbers going from the SEC West to play under Lincoln Riley in the Big 12

He got better as he got older? Crazy stuff, man.

There’s no need to shite on Bama wrt Hurts.
