Would like to see lsu try out the white helmet over white jerseys and gold pants.

Flame away.

The Chargers uniforms look amazing.

But we’re LSU. We need a gold helmet, gold pants and then either a white jersey or a purple jersey.

We don’t need more than 1 helmet and 1 pair of pants. We’re not Oregon.

If we're wearing purple jerseys there's nothing better than white purple white

My only problem with those white pants is the “L”. It’s not on the gold pants.

I hate this argument.

Ohio State has busted out all black uniforms, red pants, and other alternates. Oklahoma has a complete set of different home and away uniforms that they've had for years now.

It's okay for big time programs to change it up every once in a while without getting as crazy as Oregon and other teams have.

Well at least you know. (That you most likely belong in College Station Texas)

You know what I'd like to see LSU try out? I'd like to see them try out a few SEC Championships wearing one of the Top Ten all-time best looking and most recognizable uniforms in College Football history.

Gold-White-Gold and Gold-Purple-Gold. That's it. Throw in the White-White-White (With the helmet and pants stripe altered to match the shoulder stripe) every few years or so to keep all the frustrated fashion designers at bay.

Did you see what Nick Saban said in an interview a few weeks ago? He said that one thing that will never change at Alabama are the uniforms. Iconic unis don't need to be changed.

Alternate uniforms are for loser programs that desperately need a gimmick for motivation.......

We are none of those, let them bling all they want. There is a reason LSU is consistently mentioned as having one of the best, most recognizable uniforms in college football. FYI, it's not for LSU's black or florescent colored uniforms.

So you think Ohio St. is consistently mentioned as having one of the best, most recognizable uniforms in college football (they are...every year) because of their alternates?

Everyone knows what LSU’s uniforms look like. I mean, you seem like you might forget, but generally speaking I don’t think there’s any confusion as to what LSU normally wears and is known for. A little tweak of the uniform sometimes is not going to threaten that.

To me the best uniforms are either when the pants and jersey match or pants and helmet match. I’m not a big fan when the helmet and jersey match but the pants are different.

For that one wild uni game, maybe so.

Otherwise it's the tradition.

I do like those Packer Digs with the gold shell and all white unis. We could pull that off easily. But to me those Digs that UCLA sported last year in the opener were friggin' Dope. I just love a true Gold helmet. Face it, our Gold is really Yellow. I like all teams that have Gold shells: UCLA, ND, Vandy, Colorado, etc.... I do not care for the Poser Gold shells: Saints, GT, BC, FSU, Too pale, not true Gold.
