To recruits considering Texas A&M, Fisher’s record essentially the same as Kevin Sumlin’s

Fisher is in his 5th year and is losing to the Appalachian States of the football world! If, in spite of all the evidence available to make a good decision on your football path you still go there, you deserve to be called an Aggie and to listen to Aggie jokes the rest of your life.

It’s unbelievable to me that all of these kids believe his lies every year. Outside of the one year he rode Jameis, Devonta Freeman and co., Jimbo is a horrendous HC and play caller. The proof is in front of their face. Obviously money is the determining factor.

Sumlin was 36-14 in his first 50 games. Fisher is 35-15. Fisher is just a dreamer who sells blue sky. It sucks for the recruits who they pay to buy it.

I heard a coach several years ago talking about how sloppy Fisher's desk was at FSU. That seems a bit lazy or disjointed to me. Sloppy.

Haynes king was a very highly rated TX qb. It seems almost like the HS football coaches run that state. Almost seems like the “highly rated” TX guys are favored by college coaches. Too many of these kids just do not pan out. With as many of these types come out of HS in TX, it is going to take a serious alpha to tell the HS coaches to shut up.
FTR I think this has a lot to do with how Mack Brown lost traction at UT.

Jimbo talks fast to give the impression that’s he’s confident and knows what he’s talking about. Fact is, he got lucky with Jamis Winston in FL and really doesn’t know jack. He’s in over his head but the money makes it worth it.

Except it's costing A&M about 10x's the cash to pay Jimmy and all his recruits than it did Sumlin and his guys!

last cycle, I dont know why everyone acts like a team full of true freshmen, 5 stars or not is going to win a championship. The preseason hype is good though so that negativity can swirl over there when they don't meet expectations and hopefully slow their recruiting momentum.

Their last 4 classes have finished 4, 6, 8 and 1. It isn't just one good class he's working with.
