5 man with a quickness this morning in North AL. Totally made up for a shitty dove opener last week.

We didn’t limit in Gueydan, but teal were everywhere and it sounded like WW3 for a solid hour and a half.

Hunted in S/W St Landry Parish. Lots of shooting west of us in Acadia Parish. We shot 5(shot terrible). Should have got around 10. On a personal note, I have been on Chemo for almost 2 years. Only got to kill 4 last season. Shot my old Browning this morning. Simply too heavy for this soon to be 69 year old. Could not get in front of them. Breaking out my 6 lb Benelli Montefeltro 20 gauge tomorrow. Got to see another sunrise and see my old Lab pick up ducks. All in all,I could not be happier! Enjoy every day God gives you.

Got a three man limit in Acadia Parish. Started off slow, but groups started coming in around 745. Heard a good bit of shooting.

Teal birds good in Garwood, TX this morning. Limits across the board.

Was glad to see the big groups work and do more than a high speed pass.

Day 2 in Tealville…the Boss #5’s were deadly.

Birds responded to HEAVY calling. Hit them with them with the mallard call before they landed wide. Kept them up to work into the spread.

I bought a case of Boss #5’s for my 20 gauge. Until a get used to it, I am saving those expensive shells!

Mass suicide this morning, only way to describe it. 5 man punch in 14 mins. West of Houston.

Monday hunt did 1/2 limits. They were some no shooting no hitting sob’s. Could have been limits with some shooters.

More birds arrived on Monday from the looks of it.
