When did gypsies infiltrate the US?

I've been seeing a lot of gypsy-looking folks panhandle around big-box retailers and intersections in New Orleans and Houston recently. It's almost always a family bumming which is the M.O. for gypsies. They're a big problem in Europe and seems they've made thier way here. I'm thinking they're coming in through the southern border as there's a ton of them in Texas and the South.

There’s ample information pointing that this is a concerted attack by Soros if you just search.

There is a gypsy community in my city. Weird bunch of people that dine and dash or dine and eat half and say it isn't any good and ask for a refund etc. Trashy people.
