Sky cam was eye opening, I understand why both Daniels and Boutte were frustrated.

He's got to look at all of his WRs, or use his legs to escape pressure to throw.

Daniels is the best QB we’ve had since Mett.

Now that’s laughable

If it was Nuss in the pocket, some of those plays are likely sacks.

If it was Nuss, some of those plays are actually passes. Weird.

One would hope.

I prefer Nussmeier, so do most people. Noone is talking about Brennan.

1) Who on FSU's team is gonna be in the NFL?
2) Daniels is gonna get hurt playing like that against SEC play, nevertheless the NFL.

Here's a blitz with Boutte running wide open on the slant and he couldn't get the ball out:

Had Brennan been the starter Sunday these same apologist would have burned him at the stake.

Same goes for Nussmier. There was only one reason the starter wasn't named until Sat/Sunday. In hopes Nuss wouldn't enter the portal. Daniels was given the start long ago. And he won't be pull no matter his performance.
It will always be someone elses fault.

We are inches from scoring on 2nd play of game. That may have set a different tone

Leonard Fournette was the best running back since Harvey Williams.

Take Kevin Faulk out of the equation for a minute.

Yep, that sounds just as retarded.

Don't make shite up. The team knew who the starter was early last week. He didn't announce the started because there's no reason to give FSU more time to prepare for one guy rather than having to prepare for both.

Go check out the Skyview thread. He missed open guys due to his inability to read defenses and not keeping his eyes downfield

Yep. I won't say it was widespread, but I saw at least three times where he missed wide open guys before the pocket started to collapse

Eta - I think he has potential to be pretty good

He may be the most athletic, it remains to be seen how good he can be.

I wouldn't go comparing him to any past QB's after just 1 game for sure, but I still think he did a pretty good job considering the protection issues. I definately think he's the last person you could blame for how this team played as a whole Sun. night. That being said, I think he can be good enough to win you quite a few games if the game plan improves and he gets some time to see open receivers. His accuracy is pretty good and his game experience showed in places. Once they went to timing routes that worked pretty well and that's mostly accuracy.

He really doesn't. He looks to better at passing than either (worlds better than Jennings, which isn't hard), and a better/ different type runner too.

The offense may have been held to a goose egg if Etling was the QB on Sunday night.

Because Etling isn't mobile? This is just as stupid as the people saying Daniels is as bad as Jennings and Harris.
