The players and coaches are affected by this cancer…somebody in the football program spill the beans and let us know the true story on what is going on please.

Could you stop making threads. They are really providing nothing to the board.

Called the lingering O effect

The cancer has a few initials and they are NIL.

A Southern fan trolling the board. This might be a first.

They hired an older established coach with an antiquated offensive scheme.
Everyone on offense knows that scheme is never going to allow them to have the success that we had in 2019.
You guys can laugh (rightfully so) about how ridiculous of an expectation that is. But, I guarantee you players coming in here after that season were coming because they wanted to be a part of *that*.

But everyone else has to deal with those same Initials.

Mind your business, you knowing will not help LSU football in any way

We had very highly ranked recruiting before 2019. Daniel’s is not the guy for that kind of offense.
If Boutte catches the ball we win the game.
What is in his head is ridiculous.
At least the line looked much better second half of 3rd Quarter to the end.

Losing exposes a lot just like winning covers up a lot

Well we might as well quit playing football. If the only reason a recruit wants to come to LSU is to be a part of”that” they are going to have to go to the NFL because that is where ALL of “that” is now.

It is simple: Florida State is a much better team.

Welcome to the NFL-ization of the college game due to the stupid NIL. Entitled jackasses and “give a crap attitude” due to Jock-sniffers worshiping them.

The offense was JOE BURROW. He made the Oline better than it actually was PERIOD. You can say Jefferson, Chase Marshall also but those guys are Landry and Beckham without Joe.
It wasn’t wonder boy or E either. It was JOE. Took a shitty Bengals team to the freaking Super Bowl and you people expect Nuss or Daniels to be him. They are and will never be remotely close to him.

Adversity builds strength.
Let’s not act like we were winning shite in 2022 regardless of last night.

Yeah, I don’t think some people realize this enough. That dude ran shite more than any other player I’ve ever seen.
HE was the one that the players were scared to let down. Chase said it in multiple interviews… if Burrow looked at him a certain way, he would go up to him and ask what he did wrong. The Oline let him get sacked against some scrub team they were up big on…. The camera caught him dressing them down and not a one of them dared to say anything back.
That guy ran that team and instilled the discipline.

It's culture inherited from the previous regime (and the one before it). O was about getting great talent and motivating them to give it his all. That approach will produce both greatness (2007 and 2019) and mediocrity (2020 and 2021) and everything in between over time.
Kelly understands that consistency requires a culture of attention to detail, discipline, AND talent and motivation (think Saban and "process").
It takes time to change embedded culture. Kelly will get there, but he needs time to recruit and build the players and team that can do what HE wants them to do. He's the first coach we have had in a while that sees this problem and offers actual solutions.

Correct, it's called rebuilding. Team has holes.
