The first td catch was underthrown…..he had to grab the ball over the defensive guys helmet….while in the air….then when he fell…it popped out. Very hard catch to make….

Todd McShay said it best via Twitter: “I’m dying to know (and will find out) the real story on what’s going on with LSU and its star WR Kayshon Boutte. LSU’s blatant lack of interest in getting him involved and Boutte’s obvious frustration was alarming!”
He had 3 drops and a ball hit him in the arse in the end zone because he was pouting.

A good way to start would be to actually look at the QB and pick up your hands while the ball hits you in the numbers.

Did Boutte drop a TD pass on first drive?
Did Boutte not turn his head to find a second TD pass that the ball hit him?
I agree our O was terrible and we needed to get the ball to the receivers but we can’t blame Daniels or LSU for the drops by Boutte. The first pass attempt would hav3 been a great catch but that’s what great receivers do.
If Boutte makes just those 2 catches he has a 2 TD performance and win or lose he has a very productive game, but he didn’t! He has to own that and LSU, the QB, the line, the coaches, they need to own their share.

A kid who chose to stay when he could’ve went anywhere. But it was okay from Myles to do it?
Holy smokes!

Sure, he’s got to control his emotions better and catch the easy passes. But don’t forget he holds the SEC single game receiving record and he’s a LA native.
Who cares what he's done in the past? He played like dog shite against FSU. No one who plays like that should be complaining about a lack of opportunities. I'm getting close to wishing we would never see him again.

Agree, first catch would have been great, but if you want to claim to be the best and be NFL caliber you make those catches! I was ok with that drop it hurt but don’t whine when you drop 3+ pass attempts.

frick Todd McShay and frick You

He needs to adjust to the new offense as well. This isn't 7-7 beat your guy on a quick slant or fly route.
I did see coverage rolled to him several times.

Your argument is debunked just based off this sentence you typed.
What a fricking dog shite thread.

1. Catch the ball when it hits both of your hands
2. When you are in red zone/end zone look at the QB and repeat #1.
That Todd McShay is the real story.

He dropped 2 balls I would have caught. He needs to be better.

Boutte on Sunday night was about as checked out/disinterested as I’ve ever seen a top tier player.
Not saying he can’t improve, but I am saying he looked awful in basically every way imaginable.
I don’t think he makes it through the season.
