Jayden Daniels will start, here's why

The first thing an offense wants to do is control the line of scrimmage and run the ball, if you can't do that it really hampers your production unless you have a top QB. Our running game has been inconsistent ever since CEH left, Cain or Goodwin can turn out to elite but at this time it's still an unknown. With Jayden Daniels, LSU has 2 running backs on the field at the same time so the chances of both not being able to get yards is significantly lower and will put Kelly's mind more at ease until he can really asses our team after we get tested.

meh, still leaning Brennan.
seriously tho, I think JD will start because we don't know how this OL will work together. It may take a few games to get right.
ETA:
So if you have a bad OL you should run wildcat offense? That would be the same thing. Which wouldn't work.

You don’t know or understand football like you think you do

If Daniels is willing to commit now to play in any bowl we might be invited to, I say give him the start over Nuss.

Experience wins out which is Daniels and the last time we saw Nuss he didn't exactly play error free ball against Hogs

I’m just impressed that the team has known since Monday and it’s not all over social media. That’s kind of unheard of these days.

Were you the poster that said Daniels is not a running QB? If it is Daniels it’s B/C the OC or CBK is not confident that the O-line can protect the passer.

I’m sure he’s improved since then. God, I hope so anyway

I am not a football expert. Im not a coach or anything, but I have been a football fan since I can remember. In my non expert opinion, if you knew half of what you think you know, you would be an expert.

Didn’t you guarantee Nuss was transferring after the Spring?

Because he wouldn't have come here if he wasn't promised to start.

He’s going to start because he’s a leader and the best QB on the team
