I see the same fricking posts this year as I read last year

They played a D1 team, Hawaii, that actually had a somewhat decent season.

FSU is playing an FCS school.

Are the people scared of Florida state after watching them beat a high school team being serious in this thread?

I'm not serious, but I think I'm no less irrational than the people who act like LSU is going to blow the doors off FSU and frick them in the arse on the way out.

FSU is a good team. If LSU doesn't come out clicking, they'll lose this game and that puts them at risk of a 7 loss season.

LSU needs this much more than FSU.

I understand. I’ve seen much of the same myself. But the physical difference at the line of scrimmage between an fcs school and an fbs school is too great to make assessments about the quality of FSU’s team.
The only thing I can take from this game is that they are competent enough not to step on their own dicks.

The moron HC that you white knighted for called them sissy blues and didn’t have the team prepared.

I honestly remember watching UCLA in week 0 last year and coping that their physicality wouldn’t translate to the LSU game. Obviously it did. I have seen little to nothing to be scared of from FSU tonight. Sure they have a few players that will make some plays, but they are not good.

I'm done with this game.

The fricking announcers have been debating chicken nuggets =/= boneless wings for the last 10 minutes.

It’s going to be a very close game next Saturday, coin flip type of game where either team can win.

I'm not sure which game you're referring to but come Sunday night LSU will mop the floor with FSU.

As bad as Duquesne is, I feel like LSU is getting more benefit out of this game than FSU is. UCLA played a bad Hawaii team last year but they at least had a pulse.

Also, I who was the FSU WR that left the game early on? Did they ever announce what happened to him. Sucks to see kids get hurt this early on (or at all )

Hawaii wasn't that bad last year. They finished 6-7.

We will murder FSU at the line of scrimmage. And with our speed. 33-10.

Random fact: LSU, FSU, and WSU are the only schools that have the H-style goal posts

Really? Db seems to me to be the strength of your team. Y’all have actually recruited guys in the top 100 there and they pass the eye test to me. I don’t know how effective they will be against our wr’s though if y’alls dline can’t generate pressure .

This might be the deepest DB group FSU has had on recruiting rankings paper. But we have Adam Fuller. FSU has a lot of talent, and we are a lot like LSU in that we've had idiotic coaching but will always have speed and talent.

I think our OL will get mauled, and Jordan Travis will run around, make some plays and miss some plays. Our defense is going to be shredded. I can't believe Adam Fuller has a job, this is going to be one hell of a game

Some seem impressed, but I wouldn't conclude much of anything from this game. I like to believe LSU would beat Duquesne 47-7 or even better. And then that wouldn't mean much either.

I am hoping this game ends up a negative for FSU, because of the upgrade in competition.

I think the first half will be a battle because of the energy and emotions but 2nd half our baws will pull away sort of like the Miami game a few years back
