Dude, I live in SE Louisiana. It's rained every single day since the beginning of July. My yard is rotten. Just the other day people were praying for rain an hour West of us. Severe drought conditions. Don't give me any bullshite because you're getting the rain now.

frick your yard kid.
There’s people that’s got tons money tied up in corn beans and cotton.
Your yard is shite and meaningless.

Beyond sick of it and really makes me want to move to one of these places that haven’t seen rain for months. I hate looking at the forecast and seeing it with high chances as far as it’ll tell you. Has me in a horrible mood

Farming is the same as gambling. You can't control what the house does.
You think you're the only people with their livelihood and millions of dollars tied to the weather? Try civil construction down here. Ain't done shite but cut ditches and pump for months.

Typical farmer. Praying for rain one minute, bitching because you got too much of it the next.
You sure do make a lot of assumptions about other people that you don't know.

At least a TS or hurricane come in goes in matter of a day or two
Pretty sure after the last two hurricane seasons, most in SWLA and SELA would take this rain over any tropical system or hurricane....

Hopefully the rain stops before football season

So you assume that because I have a yard that is unmowable that I don't have millions tied up by this shite weather as well? You also assumed I was a kid by making a comment about my yard. How stupid are you?

I would hazard to guess that most of southwest Louisiana is still well below average rainfall for the year.
who cares. We don't need 50+ inches of rainfall a year. would do just fine with 40-45 especially this year since we've had 60-80 over the last 5 years

but most of the state is likely going to be fine. North Louisiana is probably in the worst shape concerning excessive rainfall
Sugarcane is fine. Rice in south LA was still good but wouldve been better if not for rain and it caused some fields to turn into disasters
The cotton and soybean crops are in serious trouble from central to North LA and some of that rice on low ground thats prone to backwater maybe in trouble also
