Starting the season off with some good vibes. I forgot just how bad Chase torched AJ Terrell over and over. I’m really excited to watch our WR’s this year.

It's always the right time to watch any game from 2019.

Good call.

Yep = I've watched three of them myself in the past couple weeks.

After rewatching some 2019 games a big thing that jumps out to me that we’ve missed the last 2 years is having a back that can be a safety valve out of the backfield. Edwards Helaire was so great at that and converted a lot of 1st downs and broken plays. Our run game has been pretty average as well. We’ve had some really good games but the consistency has not been there.

I did a while back and noted here that, on rewatch, we weren't in threat of losing a number of the close games like Texas and Bama as badly as it felt in the moment. Yes they were "close" games on paper, and defense didn't close out games that well. But the games were ours to lose, and it seemed like the team never felt like the games were as close as us fans did live.

CEH does not get enough credit for his contributions that year. LSU does not win the Auburn game without him and maybe the Alabama game as well.

Chase gets to go up against Terrell and Diggs again this NFL season. If last matchups were any indicator Chase is gonna put up a lot of yards this year

I watched the Texas game earlier. What a fun game. I honestly think they’ll be a good addition to the SEC. Bonus points that it’ll piss Aggie off too

I believe that in both those fames neither team, UT nor Bama, had the ball with a chance to take the lead in the 2nd half. Not 100% sure about UT but I know for a fact that Bama didn't.

Saw a stat that said we never ended a game without the ball in our possession that year. That's domination.

Queen also balled out that game. Incredible night. Clemson fans were in shock and leaving early

Yep I was way off in my proposed strategy - stay away from Terrell (especially given how he got Tua) and go after the converted WR Kendrick.

Also, while I wasn’t too worried down 17-7, was anyone else puckered when we were up 28-25 facing 3rd and long with Burrow clearly hurting? That screen to chase was the play of the game IMO.

I still wish LSU would have tacked on that extra touchdown at the end of the game.

I disagree, I think CEH gets too much credit.

Go rewatch the Bama game and tell me CEH gets too much credit. He was f’in incredible and that was THE game in a historic season. He was pretty damn good the rest of the season too

I have no idea how the team felt, but 3rd and 17 was a damn close game. They don’t convert that, and Texas has the ball, down by 6, with three minutes left, against a defense it had pushed around.

The only team all season that had the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie or take the lead was Florida.
