My distant friends wife is big time Anti Trumper too, (she likes Liz Chaney) I just don't get what people are talking about here about Trump? I guess the media did a great job labeling Trump.
Questions in response to Message about Trump:
1. He never said anything true?
2. Never kind? Uh, do they watch his rallies?
3. He's hateful? Maybe of the DC corruption and media
4. Life long conman? hmmm where did we hear that one?
he is good salesman of positive energy in my opinion
5. Lecherous?- ah I detect jealousy of supermodel wife
6. Rapacious?- ah jealousy because he's rich
7. Megalomaniacal?- That describes the existing Politicians way more than Trump
8. Narcissistic? - Nobody is perfect

Lastly, my friend posted this himself- smart and reasonable, voted for Trump because the Democrats offer nothing.
what percentage of GOP members are among us that feel this way heading into 2024? I'd say 15% tops...but that's a big enough number to be a problem

Well...then by all means...vote for the Dems.
Every single bit of the could be 100% accurate, but if you look at what the man DID for 4 years as president, you'd see that every goddamned day he got up and did his dead level best for THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Not lobbyists. Not the UN or the "international community." Hell...sometimes not even the Republican party. But for EVERY AMERICAN.
And that is why he has to be destroyed.

Nope - at this stage of the game there are only 3 options:
1 = you are just now awakening from a 50 year absence from contact with the world.

I've come to realize there is a large percentage of the population that just can't handle any adversity. The media constantly piling on Trump, twists them into fits. They don't care if what they say about Trump is true or not, they just can't handle the noise. That's why they figure if they voted for Biden, then it would stop.
ETA - I'm having a hard time coming up with the proper word here, for what these people are feeling when the media and politicians are constantly blasting Trump? Sorry

Look, I am a Trump guy (now, not so much in 2016 but I did quietly vote for him).
He is far from perfect and has led a very questionable personal life. I would not hire him for spiritual direction, bible study lead, or any other position where a high moral character is needed. He is however, one of the best president we have had and has a deep abiding love for this country's founding principles. More so than perhaps any person to hold the office since Washington.
The people who post shite like this were either never for Trump or weak.
