I went to the scrimmage today

Hey Yall,
I got to see the scrimmage today because my step dad played for LSU. It was an alumni day. Jayden Daniels was slightly better than Garret Nussmeier. Nuss won 7 on 7, but Jayden was better in the scrimmage. I feel very good about our team and really believe we will be solid. Armoni Goodwin looked like the best running back. Kyren Lacey and Malik Nabors had big days. West Weeks had a big hit at LB and Greg Penn was shaken up during the scrimmage. It began to pour down rain and the wind was howling. Great day for football.

I was at the practice as well and the first poster was prettt spot on with how it all went. Daniels showed his wheels. Mason Taylor at TE looks good and Quency Wiggins is a huge and athletic kid.

How did the #1 OL hold up in pass protection against the #1 DL.

The pass protection was great. Never broke down. Daniels was old reliable. Good passing and rushed for a long one. Although the pass protection looked good the line never seemed to open much in the way of a hole. Nuss still in the pocket too long and cannot find receivers. Oh one more thing. Daniel’s long ball is a thing of beauty. Nice high ark and lays in receivers hands. No way to defend from behind. Nuss longbball not catchable in scrimmage. Punting and place kicking…., please don’t hold your breath. Tell the person pouring to make it a double.
