That’s extremely impressive for a qb in a RPO spread system!! Under Denbrock and coach Kelly tutelage, kid have a chance to be extremely special this year IF he starts!!

When evaluating the tools that make a successful quarterback, max sprint speed is so far down the list it's practically immaterial.

Speed isn't #1 in football. Especially at QB. While impressive, no one believes Usain Bolt is Tom Brady.

Edit: Meaning....speed is important, but if you cant play the game does it really matter? How many track stars do we have to name?

He is very mobile, he has a good deep ball, if he can get down the short/intermediate passing game like some have said he’s doing then when we will be good.

If Nuss was the starter we would be drooling over Jayden as a backup.

I think being an accurate passer is more important than straight line speed

RPO is not read option. QB’s run on a regular basis in read option, not RPO.

What does that equate to in a forty time

If real speed is not that relevant, why do NFL teams do so much work on timing the 40?

Practice? We talking about practice? Not a game! Practice?

It may not be a top skill but you can’t teach it so …

It will serve him well vacating the pocket when there’s pressure. His feet are quick too. Turn a sack into 2nd & 5 , that changes things

I haven’t participated in many of any QB threads, but there is definitely appeal to daniels just because of his legs. He is borderline elite as an open field runner for any position.

Nothing breaks down a game plan like a QB that can get to the sticks with his legs.

Kind of excited to see a QB with the ability to take it to the house on plays that most QBs would be trying to just get enough for a 1st down.
