Penning graded highest of 1st rd offensive rookies after week 1 of preseason.

He played the entire game just about and only had one a couple hiccups. Not bad for your first NFL game. Hurst will be the starting LT this year but they need to get Penning 90% of the snaps during the preseason. Hurst doesn’t need them, we know what we have in him.

Armstead and Roaf both took awhile before they were ready. Anyone expecting a raw talent to come in and dominate on day one is delusional. He's a rookie. It'll take him a minute to get pass protection down.

Armstead didnt start until after 8 games. Coach got tired of watching Charles Brown play.

You could see how light he is on his feet and athletic he is. He needs reps but I believe he could start this year easily.

Not surprised he’s the highest rated, but am surprised w the 90+ rating. Gave up a sack, had a holding call, got away w at least one hold, and gave up a handful of pressures.
