My preferred style is a dressy casual shoe, a slip-on made of leather with man-made soles. I find leather soles tend to be slippery if floors are hard tile and even worse if slightly wet.

I've got a couple pair of Rockport shoes that are very comfortable and easily work for wearing all day.

You joke but I literally saw a guy wear khakis and white boots one random Sunday at the Plaquemine Walmart.

It's still a thing to see the occasional pickup truck with the upside down white shrimp boots between the bed and cab down in "Da Parish".

I see those Wolf and Shepherd style shoes all over the place now. Whether they look good or not usually depends on the wearer. Sometimes I like them, sometimes they look a little silly.

Yea from an appearance perspective, I'm luke warm. I haven't tried them on, but I would guess they are pretty damn comfortable. And they are definitely acceptable in most business settings these days.

Candidate? I thought this guy was already hired and ready to make a big impact. Disappointing.

In the same announcement, you said that Larry Leo’s role was going to increase but I haven’t noticed any changes. Gratifying.

Cheap khakis or nice high price?

Pleated or non-pleated?

Cuffed?

Johnson & Murphy - Conard Cap Toe

Johnson & Murphy - Cambridge Wingtip

Johnsan & Murphy Lace-up Shoes

Depends on your age too. I still wear Wallabees, Stan Smith and Vans with khakis. Forty years ago I still wore penny loafers at times with khakis. Deck shoes too.

Shelve the khakis and go with slacks.
