Which one of yall baws are opening up this fine establishment?

There is no website or social media presence.

Should no doubt be authentic Cajun seafood cuisine, right?

Hopefully they don’t cook a New Orleans style watery gumbo

Any idea where that’s located? I’m guessing it must be on 5th Ave because I’ve called all the other Penn Station stores and none of them said they’re next door to a Cajun seafood place. I’m not getting an answer at the one on 5th Ave. I’ll keep trying.

Okay, I reached the Penn Station on 5th Ave. They said they’re not next to a new Cajun seafood place, either. I think you might be mistaken.

the issue with all “Cajun” (or “Creole”, usually these places just jumble the names and dishes up) places outside of the Gulf south is they use frozen chines shrimp, frozen Chinese crawfish, frozen Chinese catfish, imitation crab, regular cheap smoked sausage, etc. for all their recipes to keep costs reasonable.

Sometimes you can find a great spot that uses the correct techniques and spices etc., but the output is still just passable. Nobody wants to pay for what it would cost to get the ingredients fresh so the product always suffers and is inferior.
