Most experienced QB on the roster & most athletic QB on the roster

To me, all he has to really prove is that he can control the pace of a game. Because we already know the other 2 cannot.

Wasn't impressed by his QB play in the spring game. He's fast that's it

It’s been clear as day for a while now, some folks are just unable or unwilling to accept it.

I’m starting to think Daniels starts. Look at him as a HS recruit and his freshman season. Take into account his injury his Sophmore year, and the disfunction in the AZ program the last couple of years, and it can explain the weak passing numbers last year TD-INT ratio.

Bold strategy for Kelly to let the media vote on who the starting QB will be this year.

It's hard to say what anyone will do until they line up against an SEC defense. At least Daniels was able to absolutely torch UCLA's D last year (something we were unable to do). LSU just needs to piece together Ws in the first part of the season whatever way they can regardless of who is playing QB. It's probably gonna take a little while for the team to gel with so many new players and new coaches.

This is such a lazy stupid statement, how can you even start to say this when Nuss didn't get a chance to show how he looked in the first chance to do so since the spring game(in the spring game he looked the best)...but yea... competition is over. Daniels wins the vote. LSU fans are scared of dual threat QBs, we've never won crap with a dual threat. They're scared because of 10tds/10ints last year, scared that he's been "inaccurate and erratic", scared that he looked bad in the spring game, THIS spring game. But we're supposed to buy that he's fixed his inaccuracy after a whole lifetime of struggling with his accuracy. It has nothing to do with him being black.

Scott Rabalais wrote this entire article based off of what he saw in 1 practice on 1 day. I think he's saying that if Nuss isn't in the picture, then Daniels is our guy. He said things are different in Nuss is involved

He was the #1 dual threat QB out of HS and nearly a 5 star QB. Maybe he didn’t get coached properly at AZ state. He also has way more talented teammates at LSU

Unless you’re watching every practice and have a clue about the position it’s dumb to think you know who should start at this point.

I honestly have no opinion on who starts. But I doubt that it’s close to over.

If he can make all the throws, I'm in. I don't want a running QB with a lesser arm, you can't win that way anymore and I'd be very disappointed if the LSU offense turned more conservative.

Well, I’m glad Scott R. Knows what the LSU coaches don’t. Maybe he should become their next coach.
