I've never seen you post something that wasn't completely and unequivocally incorrect. It's stunning.

Are we still pretending that gas that cheap wasn't largely due to the lack of demand during COVID lockdowns/restrictions in a large part of the country?

Also industry leaders took the advice his administration gave in their meeting. They reinvented their record profits into new refineries and built and opened three brand new ones just last week. Instance increase in refining capacity!

You don’t have to keep defending the buffoon in office because you voted for him.

Agreed. Let’s look at 2019
$2.70
Or 2018
$2.92
Or 2017
$2.49

I don't think he's doing that. He's just pointing out that you're 1000% wrong.

Are you under the impression that this is going to continue? Bless your heart.

I think $2.70-$2.75 a gallon with $70-75/bbl oil would be a nice place I could truck along with for a good while.

Agreed. 2015 and 2016 started the trend.

Butt pirate back in may: what is the point of biden releasing like 12 hours worth of oil from the spr, this will make zero difference in the price at the pump

Butt pirate today: gas falling by 20% over nearly two months is fake and gay because the spr is being drained.

But yeah, let's celebrate sub $4

Seriously, have we become that conditioned to these current high prices that we consider about tree fiddy to be cheap gas?

One thing very interesting and telling about supply and demand during the Covid shutdowns, April 2020 was the lowest U.S. supplied product of finished motor gasoline per month since March of 1971.

That is absolutely stunning to think about.

March 2020 was the lowest since February 1998.

We are supposed to cheer for this?

That still means it’s way too high
