I'm recently divorced and find this to be true. I'm not even looking to date right now, but some of the women in our local Publix will ask you about something in your cart to get a conversation going. Doesn't happen every time, but I can see it working, if you're in hunt mode.

Funny thing I found was that the same women who were stuck up and thought they were “all that” in their 20’s are now in their 40’s, divorced, miserable, yet still think the same way.

They dated the asshoes back then, married them, seemed surprised when they cheated, yet date the same type losers again because they’re “all that”….

My neighbors and co workers who are 40+ single and in shape are slaying women in their mid 20's and early 30's. It isn't hard these days unless you are a slob.

That doesn’t seem to be the case in Nashville. Maybe others have had better luck. I’ve not had any trouble with dates with younger women, but nothing below 35. Women in their 40’s on other hand have 20-something guys chasing them constantly.

Reading these threads makes me feel better about where I am in life. Think I'll go home, cook the wife something nice, and tell her I love her.

I am with you.

Based on a lot of these responses, it's as if many people on this board have never interacted with another woman.

frick I have it lucky.

No social media for either of us (other than TD), same goals, our biggest priorities are right in front of us.

Can't imagine trying to wade through the dating pool to find a person I like in my 30s. Christ.

I'm sure it's pretty fun and exciting to plenty of dudes and I don't blame them.

But I think I'm pretty well suited for family/dad life and after the initial fun wore off I think I'd quickly just be trying to recapture (which would be difficult and painful it sounds) what I've already got.

She never told me about a bunch of credit card debt that she had coming into the marriage(only thing it would have changed was our approach to getting it all paid off). She told me about two years in and we sat down to figure out how to get it all paid off.

Then she had been lying to me about where she was going. She told me she was going one place and went somewhere else. I bought a new truck last year with OnStar that I pay for and she was on my family plan so I noticed she wasn’t where she told me. Turns out she was cheating a couple hours away. Talked to a lawyer and he told her that if we fight it out, she will get about 60k so we are working it out where she gets the house I bought ten years before we got together. I have 6.5 acres and I will live in my barn until I build a new house out there.

Bumble and Hinge apps. Plenty of Fish.

In Dothan, you should be able to pull some cute younger girls by throwing a little bit of cash around at the bar. Buy some drinks, chat them up and flirt, you'll reel one with daddy issues in and it's on. Rinse and repeat.

Like I said, that was the nail in the coffin but it wasn’t what killed it. We had other big issues.

I found myself in the same boat at 42. As far as apps go, I found Match to be a little more spendy, but worth it with higher quality women and better filters to weed out the trash. Eventually got remarried. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I'm likely to find myself single again at 50 here in a year or two. At that point I'll be 2 years from retirement and will do the MGTOW thing. Just don't have the energy or patience to do it again.
